The diver needs to wear a dry suit before plunging and diving in the water. the best time for ice diving is between the months of February to the start of March. During this time, the lake is covered with very thick ice and the weather is sunny.

The quarry has many chambers where you can even find hammers and trolleys that were used for the marble extraction in the past. This quarry has the maximum depth of 72m. You just need a dry suit to dive in. the water is cold and the temperature is usually between 4 to 7C. In case you are not scared of too cold water, then do go for ice diving.
